Arch Insurance - Underwriter For Travel Insured - Upgraded to A (Excellent) Rating by A.M. Best

A.M. Best upgraded two Arch ratings, one a "financial strength rating" (FSR) and the second an "issuer strength rating" (ISR), to the A (Excellent) level from a previous A- (Excellent) level.
In a public statement this week, A.M. Best analysts Peter Dickey and Robert DeRose summarized their findings leading to the ratings results.
"These rating upgrades reflect Arch's excellent capitalization, strong operating performance and robust risk management system," said the analysts. "…The combination of Arch's risk management characteristics, operational controls and diversified business profile have created an organization capable of effectively responding to changes in the market cycle."
